The difference
You deserve better than rushed, impatient help
How tech help usually feels
- A different stranger every time
- Jargon, sighs, and rushing
- Support lines halfway around the world
- Fixed for now — but you’re no wiser
- You feel smaller for having asked
The Bison way
- Always the same contact person — who remembers last time
- Plain language, at your pace
- In your home, at your kitchen table
- A written summary you can keep
- You feel calm, capable, and in control

Stay safe online
Staying safe online — always part of the help
Scam calls, fake bank texts, alarming pop-ups — all designed to rush you into a decision. With a background in cybersecurity, I’ll show you how to spot a scam, tell whether a message is really from your bank, and trust your own judgment again. Want to see how the tricks work?
Why a request for gift cards always means fraud
No real agency, court, bank or utility is ever paid in gift cards. Why criminals love them — and what to say when someone asks.
Is that really your bank texting you?
A text that looks like your bank is easy to fake. Three checks that take ten seconds and settle it for good.
The six-digit code nobody should ever get
That short code is the second key to your account. Why even a friendly-sounding request for it is a red flag.

Meet Matt
A teacher and IT consultant — now your personal tech helper
For about fifteen years I was a teacher, so patient, jargon-free explaining comes naturally. After that I worked as an IT consultant — most often with schools, healthcare, and elder-care organisations — so I already know your world. Part of that was helping people stay safe online, backed by ongoing training including Google’s Foundations of Cybersecurity course. I founded Bison Digital Advisory to bring all of it — the patience and the know-how — right to your kitchen table.
Safe. Simple. Step-by-Step.
