Hello, I’m Matt.

My background is what makes this work fit me so well. For about fifteen years I was a teacher — so explaining things clearly, patiently, and without jargon comes naturally. After that I worked for several years as an IT consultant, most often alongside schools, healthcare, and nursing and elder-care organisations — so I already know your world: the everyday questions, the small frustrations, and the pace that actually helps.

Part of that consulting was helping people use technology safely and protect themselves online, and I’ve kept that knowledge current with ongoing training, including Google’s Foundations of Cybersecurity course. So whether it’s setting up a new phone, sorting out photos and email, video-calling the grandchildren, or staying safe from scams, the help you get is both patient and genuinely up to date.

I loved the teaching part most: the moment someone stops feeling afraid of a device and starts feeling in charge of it. I founded Bison Digital Advisory to make that moment my whole job — bringing a little German thoroughness and a lot of patience to your kitchen table, and treating every question with respect.
