These terms apply to the services provided by Bison Digital Advisory LLC (“Bison,” “we,” “us”) and to your use of this website. By booking a service or using the site, you agree to these terms.

Our services

Bison provides personal, in-home technology help and related workshops for adults, with a focus on Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, and Mac) and online safety. We describe our current services and prices on our services page. We may update services and prices from time to time; the price that applies is the one in effect when you book.

Booking, payment, and cancellations

The first 15-minute call is free. Paid sessions and memberships are charged at the rates shown at the time of booking. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please let us know in advance so we can offer the time to someone else. We may set a reasonable cancellation or no-show policy, which we will make clear when you book.

What you can expect from us — and what we ask of you

We will be patient, respectful, and clear, and we will only use the access to your devices or accounts that a task genuinely requires. To help us help you, please: keep your own backups of important data where possible; let us know about any existing problems with a device; and keep your passwords under your own control. You remain responsible for your accounts, data, and devices.

No guarantees and limits on liability

We bring real care and experience to every visit, but technology is unpredictable and some issues are outside our control. We provide our services on a reasonable-effort basis and cannot guarantee a particular outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bison is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Third-party products and services

We may help you set up or use products and services from third parties (for example Apple, your bank, or your internet provider). Those products are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
